    Clear, silver and white polyester and white vinyl, with an acrylic adhesive for smooth high and low surface energy materials. Available with a matte or gloss polyester over-laminate.

Underwriters Laboratory (UL 969)

The nameplate and label constructions that Adhesa Plate has recognition for under Underwriters Laboratories Marking and Labeling Systems – Component (standard UL 969) are in file # MH12483. Adhesa Plate has UL recognition for pressure sensitive labels as follows:

  • Printed polycarbonate (Lexan) labels (AdhesaLex and AdhesaLex LSE). Minimum temperature -40°C (-40°F), maximum up to 80°C (176°F). AdhesaLex LSE is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and for powder paint, polypropylene, polyethylene and other low surface energy plastics.
  • Printed polyester (Mylar) labels (AdhesaFlex-Pe and AdhesaTherm). For indoor and outdoor use on smooth or textured surfaces, with excellent high temperature resistance and adhesion to low surface energy plastics and powder coats. Maximum temperature from 60°C (140°F) to 125°C (257°F).
  • Vinyl labels (AdhesaFlex-Ve). White vinyl with matte or gloss polyester overlaminates, suitable where exposed to high humidity or occasional exposure to water.
  • Printed aluminum labels (AdhesaFoil). Aluminum between .003” and .005” with 3M467 and 3M468 adhesive. Maximum temperature 60°C (140°F).

UL also tests labels in accordance with the Canadian Standard for labels.

REACH

Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals.

We can confirm that our suppliers have certified that the materials we purchase from them to manufacture Adhesa Plate products do not contain the SVHC chemicals on the REACH list in reportable quantities.

RoHS

The RoHS Directive bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than the agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE flame retardants.

Adhesa Plate's labels are compliant per the RoHS EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS2). We can confirm that our suppliers have certified that the materials we purchase from them are RoHS compliant.

We do not conduct material analysis of our raw materials; we rely on the written statements of our material suppliers. None of the materials named in these directives are knowingly used or intentionally added during manufacturing, however trace amounts may be present in the environment.

Conflict Minerals

Even though Adhesa Plate is not a public company, we are pleased to announce that our products do not contain conflict minerals originating from the Democratic Republic of Congo or its adjoining countries. We have written assurances from our suppliers that their materials comply with the Dodd-Frank “Conflict Minerals” law.

Adhesa Plate supports the objectives of this law and will not knowingly source raw materials from suppliers who use conflict minerals.

MIL Specs for Nameplates

  • Mil-M-43719 (adhesive backed markings, rolls or sheets). Type I: pressure sensitive adhesive.
  • Mil-P-19834 (aluminum foil .003” thick). Type I: pressure sensitive adhesive.
  • Mil-P-15024 (aluminum, brass and stainless steel). Type A: etched and color filled. Type E: printed. Type G: aluminum foil. Type H: Metalphoto.
